Nepal to Kuwait to Canada

Nothing excites "Chef Rana" more than the culinary arts. 


Pursuing this dream enticed him to begin gaining experience at 15 years old in Nepal.  Having showed talent & work ethic, an opportunity arose 5 years later to continue the journey in Kuwait.

In Kuwait, Chef dedicated himself to the craft further & held positions such as Chef de Partie, Assistant Kitchen Manager & Sous Chef.  He has had the honour of working at the Grand Hyatt Kuwait.  A second runner-up showing at the 2012 HORECA Challenge in Kuwait further emboldened his drive.

With faith in his experience & abilities, Chef relocated to Canada where he held a Kitchen Manager position for a major nationwide restaurant chain.  In 2016, with the Best Western Premier Freeport Inn Calgary Airport conducting an exhaustive search for an Executive Chef to lead all aspects of the culinary experience, Chef Rana was the obvious choice.
